What a busy month November has been. Full steam ahead getting organized for Xmas. I am going to have some fun making some quirky decorations for my tree. ( that's going to be another post )
Getting ahead of myself a little bit.
I have so much to share I am not sure where to start, I have decided to start with the quilt I have been working on over the last month two. I have named it 'Wildflower'.
Today I have been having loads of fun free motion quilting with fill in designs on this quilt. The ditch stitching is all done and its only the fun stuff left to do.
Here are some pictures starting with the basting.
This has been such a fun quilt to make, the applique is larger than most of my quilts giving me loads of room for embellishment, I am looking forward to playing with decorative threads to bring out the quilting on the applique flowers etc.
I have just had my sewing machine serviced and the tension altered to suit the finer threads I use most of the time. This has made quite a difference, I do not need to alter the tension every time I turn my machine on. Also it is quilting better and not shredding the thread, so much smoother going all round.
The pattern for this lovely quilt will be available soon, apart from the quilting I am working on the final details.
One more picture of my gorgeous little cat, her name is Kitty Kat and she always finds the most interesting places to snuggle up.
Here she is in the towel basket.
