  • I love to design my own quilt patterns and share them. I am a confessed lover of vintage and reproduction fabrics, my favorite thing to do is applique.

Scalloped Borders / Red and Green Quilt

Scalloped Borders / Red and Green Quilt Looking at the block Sharon's Surprise, I decided on scalloped applique borders. Bringing the reverse applique design out into the border. Just because reverse applique is so fun to do. Your red and yellow/gold borders are awesome. Thank you for the tutorial. I have never used wash-away stabilizer but it looks like a great tool for some kinds of applique. I’ll have to give it a try.
