Quilting Rambling Ways Quilt Blocks

Quilting Rambling Ways Quilt Blocks

Rambling Ways is coming along nice and slow. Dividing my time between Quilting Rambling Ways and applique border blocks for the Simply Red Quilt BOM. I have taken some pictures of the Rambling Ways blocks and the quilting so far I hope you enjoy them. By the way I have used Aurifil cotton Mako 50 weight thread top and bottom. Such a beautiful thread to quilt with. The blocks have been quilted with a version of stipple I am calling spira doodle as this is what it reminds me of. I have randomly quilted feathers in the larger areas, I love feathers and I think it would be a bit boring without them. Click on the pictures for a closer view.
