I am so sorry I have not had time to post lately, I have all the excuses to give you. My Puppy has been taking up a great deal of my free time. I never realized how much like a two year old child they are, but sooo cute and lovely.

My lovely son is also heading off on his big OE and I only have six more days to spend with him before he leaves. I am really going to miss him a lot. He has been busy moving all his belongings home. Which has meant he needed his bedroom back, this had become my sewing room. So again I have had to move my sewing room, this has also caused me to take a good look at how much I have accumulated and clear out some of the excess. I will show pictures of my new sewing room in another post.
Back to my son Peter, Peter is a collector of things. He loves vintage finds, he calls them vintage and actually they are the type of things our parents had when we were growing up. He has a large collection of records from all the artists we loved when growing up, which he has made a special book shelf for as he is a builder by trade.
Here are some more of his treasured finds.
He is very proud of the fact that he talked the lady at the op shop into selling him this clock. He has the charm and I am sure he gets that from his Dad. I would like to say the collecting comes from his Dad too but I am not so sure as I am also guilty of being attached to certain items I have collected.
Lucky last is one for me, a lovely item to display in my new sewing area. Well done Pete.
Here it is on display on my bookshelf. This treasure belonged to Peters girlfriend Chantal's Aunty.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I promise to get back to quilting posts now that I have had my show and tell time with family going's on.
