Lovely Penny Rose Fabrics

Hello Everyone This week is going past so quickly, I feel I have not accomplished much at all. I have been plugging away with computer problems, which seem to have taken up so much of my time. ( When I should be sewing and getting organized for xmas.) I have managed to do a little bit of sewing, but first up I would like to show you the lovely Penny Rose fabrics I have to work with. I have a lovely new quilt started. What a joy to start a new project, I have started the applique and have all the pieces ready to baste. Sixty two small leaves are in this design and I am so glad I have them all done. (yay) Here is a picture of the fabrics I am using. I have been trialing a new wash-away applique paper, designed by Helen Stubbings of Hugs and Kisses I was lucky enough to meet Helen in Melbourne and the APQ show. I have enjoyed using the paper to create some of my applique shapes and will keep you posted with the results. Until next time Happy Stitching Sharon
