I love to design my own quilt patterns and share them. I am a confessed lover of vintage and reproduction fabrics, my favorite thing to do is applique.

Friendship Stars Quilt

Friendship Stars Quilt

The Friendship Stars Quilt has gone together without a hitch ! It is as if you were all there cheering me on. Decisions on fabrics to use worked first time ! No fussing around trying all kinds of colours and prints etc. It just worked ! I am thrilled with the outcome and loved working on this quilt. I can't wait to make a start on the quilting, so I can snuggle under it this coming winter.

A few pictures, so you can see what I have done. I hope you can see your name on the stars. Sorry for the crooked quilt lol It's not easy taking photo's in my small sewing room.

I added the applique center, to work in with the blocks and increase the size of the quilt. You know I love applique ! So this block was such fun to do, I love the bird fabric. I have had it only for a short time, this was the perfect place to use it. The border fabric has been in my stash for years......... waiting waiting for that special project. Would you believe I only just had enough of the border fabric, it fitted like a glove. ( It was meant to be...)

I hope you like my Friendship Stars Quilt. I just love it, so glad I found these special blocks tucked away in that safe place. Lol..........

Do you see your star ?

Happy Stitching

Sharon
