I love to design my own quilt patterns and share them. I am a confessed lover of vintage and reproduction fabrics, my favorite thing to do is applique.

Candy Baskets Quilt Pattern

Candy Baskets Quilt Pattern

For the Candy Baskets Quilt I have used a selection of Red and White prints, I have always wanted to make a red and white quilt. I made the bias with a 1/2 inch bias tape maker for the handles and stitched them on with a small zig zag stitch and invisible thread. You could also hand stitch them in place.  (Always nice to have hand stitching in front of the telly at night)

This sweet little quilt 'Candy Baskets' measures 32 inches x 32 inches finished.

So much fun sewing all the these lovely blocks. Only squares and triangles, they go together easily.

I have already found a home for this sweet quilt in my guest bedroom, on top of my old singer treadle machine.

Candy Baskets Quilt Pattern is available here

Happy Stitching

    Hi Leeanne

I have always wanted a slideshow header and finally got it. I love it too ! Yes there is definitely a chill nice to have the fire going while quilting, not feeling so guilty about the garden LOL.
